Baby Samantha Is Here!
Yea, Baby Samantha has finally arrived! She's so tiny and beautiful...looks a lot like her big sis Dakota.
Jackson and the Green Dragons
Our #1 Goalie
Our Boy loves to use his head!
Jackson just finished his final season in the Boys Under 10 Division. This week he has try-outs for the All Stars Team - Go Jackson!! We're hoping to get him to try-outs on time as he's also starring in his school's production of "Annie". He's playing Drake, one of the butlers. Boy, does he look handsome in his costume!
Katey and the Pink Flamingos
This weekend is Katey's final soccer game for the 08' season. She has been able to be part of a great group of girls who are fun-loving (and goofy like her) and who want to improve their soccer skills. Daddy has had a great time coaching her ~ despite the occasional father/daughter battles ~ and is pleased with her progress. Katey is a lot of fun to watch on the field. She usually plays a midfield position and is constantly running between offense and defense. She's amazing in that she can run for the whole game and then still have enough energy to play with her friends afterwards! And she's getting to be quite fast. When asked if she would like to play the forward position and possibly score a goal her reply is "that position is sooo boring!" That's my Katey ~ always wanting to be where the most action is! Watch out world, here she comes!!
Apple Picking in Julian
Every year we drive up to Julian and meet up with the Hamen Family for some good old apple pickin'. This year, we obviously were a little late in the season as we could only find one farm still open. The picture makes the apples look normal but these apples were tiny!! The kids had a great time pickin' and eatin' their way through the orchard and didn't care about the size of the apples! Afterwards, we drove back into town and enjoyed some wonderful apple pie and carmel apples at the Julian Pie Company - yummy!
