Kylee is now in her 12th season of soccer (we play two seasons a year down here). She started when she was four years old, playing in a recreational league. Last Spring, she was asked to play on AYSO's Select team and then in the Fall, she played on a U-14 AYSO team. Then, in her third game of the season, she fractured and sprained her left ankle! She ended up playing in the last game of the season and then again when her team made it to the Regionals. This Spring, God has opened some new doors of opportunity for Kylee. First, she tried out for Calvary Chapel's Jr. High School Team and made it! And this past weeekend she was asked to try out for a club soccer team and again, she made the team!! Yea Kylee! We are now comitted to playing soccer for the next eleven months...her official season doesn't start until August, so until then they will practice three days a week, play in tournaments and hopefully build a strong team. It's so awesome to see how much Kylee has grown in self confidence and how she is so williing to "put herself out there" even when she doesn't know anyone. She has done a great job in giving her life over to the Lord and trusting Him to direct her in the way He wants her to go :~)
